It seems as though this collection references older collections in its wearability and finer fabrication.
I saw a great update to the circle top, in a navy cotton jersey with a guipure floral lace band- pretty and weighty. The shoes were fab and the Tartine satchel could be a contender in a "Celine", "Chloe" type race.
I was hoping the catalog would have some of the pieces I favored in the store, but , as usual, it is a slightly different sampling.
Many of the pieces are just as pretty, and the colors seem multi seasonal and flattering.
What do you think? I am glad I still have some gift cards left from Christmas!
I am so glad you are back - I have missed you! Great picks. I agree - these looks so fresh - I love the windowpane cardi - so much more practical than the pants! I also love those pants... sigh...
ReplyDeleteHope all is well!
Thank you- that is so sweet. Work deadlines, travel and the flu made blogging next to impossible for a while. I love sweaters form nice materials tht have a little interesting detail. I live in them!
DeleteThanks for sharing these great images!!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish they were clearer. I don't know what happened. The clothes are prettier irl- of course!
DeleteI found your blog through JCA. Thanks for sharing. I love that mint coat and the Tartine satchel. That bag makes me glad I've held out on buying other bags! Can't wait to see it in person.
ReplyDeleteThose striped pants look fun, too!
I think that is a fabulous bag. It would elevate any outfit!
DeleteWelcome back, and thank you for these - now if only you and ajc could figure out how to post some in-store pics!
ReplyDeleteThank you! When I wasn't writing, I was certainly reading, and I never missed any of your wonderful and witty posts! AJC was always far better at in store shots than I was. The clothes are much nicer IRL. I have to admit Lodden is my favorite Libtery print, and Brooks Brothers did a beautiful collection with it last year.
DeleteThank you so much for sharing these, Knit Yarns! I'm glad you're back, too...you were missed! :)

DeleteThank you. Again, too busy with work to blog, but never too busy to look at your incredibly helpful posts. It is a great collection this time- IMHO.
DeleteThanks for the sneak peeks! I love the new colour palette for spring. Can't wait to receive the new catalog!
ReplyDeleteI think the palette looks wearable and fresh. I am always drawn to summer shades...
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing these pics!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteWow, thanks for sharing. I love the windowpane sweater and those bow shoes. Take care!
ReplyDeleteI have a pair of circa 2007-8 J Crew shoes with bows and a mid heel that are still my favorite. I can't wait to see if these have a similar fit.
DeleteThanks for sharing. I like your viewpoint. The colorblock tartine looks really cute. I'm not a fan of the pastels. I'll have to check them out irl.
ReplyDeleteThe Tartine is really pretty. I do like pastels- better than neon certainly!
DeleteI absolutely love the pink windowpane cardigan. I wonder what shirt that is under the mint jacket? Not the Lodden print Liberty shirt, is it? I love these understated shades, they are very wearable for me. I think it's time to go to the nearest store and beg for a catalog :-) thanks so much for posting these!
ReplyDeleteI saw that got a catalog. Yes, it is Lodden- my favorite!
DeleteThanks for posting. I see some very nice colours for spring!
ReplyDeletePretty and nicely styled, IMHO.
